Community Students

David teaches piano, and offers voice coaching for singing and speech, year-round to students of all ages. (Students enrolled at Dickinson College have specific requirements; see this page for details.)

For most students, weekly half-hour lessons/coaching sessions are recommended. The usual fee is $30 per session, payable monthly at or before the first lesson of the calendar month by cash, check, or PayPal. (Invoices are sent by e-mail during the last week of the previous month.) Canceling a session by e-mail with at least 24 hours’ notice applies that session’s fee toward the next month’s lessons.

During the academic year (roughly September-November and February-April), lessons are generally held in David’s lab classroom: room 313 of the Weiss Center, on the Dickinson campus. When the College is not in session, lessons are usually held at David’s home in Boiling Springs. (Other arrangements are possible, within the constraints of David’s Dickinson schedule each semester. Please contact David with specific requests and inquiries.)
