Teaching at DickinsonDickinson Students

Piano

Prof. Glasgow teaches both MUPS-111 Piano Class, designed for absolute beginners who do not read music; and the MUPS-113+ sequence of courses, designed for pianists with various degrees of experience and at least basic treble- and/or bass-clef music-reading skills. (Either MUPS-111 or MUPS-113 can serve as the prerequisite for MUPS-114 and beyond.)

Matriculated Dickinson students interested in studying piano with Prof. Glasgow should complete and submit the Piano Class Application found here, which will assist Prof. Glasgow in recommending whether enrollment in MUPS-111 or MUPS-113 will be in the best interest of the student.

Please note that Prof. Glasgow offers MUPS-111 and MUPS-113 for 0.5 credits only. In order to fulfill the Division I distribution requirement with MUPS courses, students must continue to the MUPS-114 level and receive instructor recommendation for 1.0-credit lessons.
